One of them was India’s T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav. Surya is a regular member of India’s T20I team and he couldn’t make any impact on his limited ODI opportunities. He was in attendance for the match with his wife in Dubai.

Meanwhile, team India made light work of Pakistan in their 2nd match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan won the toss and opted to bat first. But despite a good partnership for the 3rd wicket, Pakistan were eventually all out for 241 runs.
Meanwhile, chase master Virat Kohli scored a magnificent and his number 81 international century to take India over the line. Kohli scored a boundary to reach his 100 and win the match for India.
Earlier, Shubman Gill looked good with a 46 runs inning while Shreyas Iyer tackled the middle-overs really well with his well made 56 runs inning off 67 balls. Team India now finds themselves one foot into the semi-finals and just needs New Zealand to beat Bangladesh in match number 6 of the tournament on 24th February, Monday.
