The Indian cricket team picked-up another crucial win in the 2nd match of their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 campaign against the hosts Pakistan, which has almost but booked their place into the semi-final of the tournament that just Bangladesh vs New Zealand match result to go their way.

The Indian cricket team faced off against the hosts Pakistan in their 2nd match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 campaign. The two neighbouring nations very rarely plays cricket against each, that top only in the ICC events.

So there was huge noise and excitement around the match. A huge number of crowd were in attandance for the match, some Indian fans, some Pakistani fans. But among them lot where some other key Indian players who are not part of the team.

One of them was India’s T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav. Surya is a regular member of India’s T20I team and he couldn’t make any impact on his limited ODI opportunities. He was in attendance for the match with his wife in Dubai.

Meanwhile, team India made light work of Pakistan in their 2nd match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan won the toss and opted to bat first. But despite a good partnership for the 3rd wicket, Pakistan were eventually all out for 241 runs.

Meanwhile, chase master Virat Kohli scored a magnificent and his number 81 international century to take India over the line. Kohli scored a boundary to reach his 100 and win the match for India.

Earlier, Shubman Gill looked good with a 46 runs inning while Shreyas Iyer tackled the middle-overs really well with his well made 56 runs inning off 67 balls. Team India now finds themselves one foot into the semi-finals and just needs New Zealand to beat Bangladesh in match number 6 of the tournament on 24th February, Monday.
