Watch: Fans chant “RCB” and “Kohli ko bowling do” during Delhi vs Railways Ranji Trophy match

Fan crazy is at the utmost level at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi as Indian cricket team’s star batter Virat Kohli is making his return to Ranji Trophy after a long gap since last playing in the competition 10 years and since established himself as world’s one of the best.
Fans have been lining-up since 3 A.M in the morning just to get an entry to watch the former India captain and World Cup winner. So much is the fan craze that the officials had to call for military to control the crowd.
On the other hand, Delhi captain Ayush Badoni won the toss and opted to bowl first, delaying the fans’ wait to watch the star batter have a go with the bat.
The crazy number of fans who are in attendance to watch Virat Kohli, instead started demanding that Virat Kohli should bowl so that they get to watch the Indian superstar have a go in the match. Fans have been shouting “Kohli ko ball do” and also chanting RCB, the IPL franchise that Kohli plays for.

Military is called upon as Virat Kohli makes Ranji Trophy return
The BCCI’s new rules and regulations clearly that players will be only considered for selection if they play in the domestic, which has been mostly been ignored by the players who go on to make their India debut.
Upon enforcing the rule, we saw India captain Rohit Sharma feature in the Ranji Trophy after a long gap playing for the most successful team Mumbai against the Jammu and Kashmir team, which Mumbai lost.
This is Virat Kohli’s return to the Ranji Trophy after a gap of more than a decade after he last played in the competition in 2010 and has since gone on become one of the best player of the game.
The fan craze to watch Kohli was clearly visible at 3 A.M in the morning when fans stood in queue to get an entry into the Arun Jaitley Stadium. The humongous number of fans in attendance to watch Kohli is quite an unseen sight in Ranji Trophy matches.
Eventually, the officials had to call for military to control to the number of crowd in attendance with many even trying to invade into the pitch.
