Recently, the 23-years-old cricketer was seen at a event alongside Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey, the daughter of Chunki Pandey. During the event, both Ananya and Jaiswal had a candid chat about how the young batter faces all the negativity on social media and people around him.
Yashasvi Jaiswal answered to the question stating that he doesn’t really think about them and things that he can’t control. “Has there been something that you have read and it’s completely thrown you off prior to a match, or a practice session, or anything like that?” asked Ananya Pandey.
“Nahi, main matlab sochta nahi hun (No, I do not think about all these things),” replied the Indian batter. Who which, Ananya said that she also would like to emulate Jaiswal and try to not think about the negativity. “I wish I could be like you. Mujhe bhi nahi sochna hai (I also do not want to think about)”, said Ananya.
Jaiswal continued to add, “Toh main bas ye koshish karta hun ki kya mere control mei hai, mei kya kar sakta hun, mei apne upar focus kar sakta hun, apne dimag pe kaam kar sakta hun. Mera saara focus ek hi cheez pe rahta hai, ki mujhe kya karna hai. (I try to see what is in my control, what I can do? I focus on myself and how I can work on my mindset. All my focus is on one thing only).”
