Jos Buttler, Mark Wood Involves in Animated Chat With Umpires

The incident occurred when Adil Rashid bowled a tossed-up delivery outside the leg stump. De Kock attempted a sweep shot, sending the ball high into the air. It appeared to be an easy catch for the fielder.

Mark Wood, however, made a critical mistake by advancing a few steps. Although he managed to catch the ball, the third umpire’s review indicated that the ball had touched the ground. Wood disagreed, asserting that his fingers were underneath the ball, leading to a discussion with the umpires.

Both Wood and captain Jos Buttler were seen having an animated chat with the umpire. Umpire Sharfuddoula explained that the final call was based on replays, which clearly showed the ball contacting the ground, resulting in De Kock being given another life.
