Now once again Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni pulled-off one of the most insane non-striker end run out one has ever seen during CSK’s match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is one of the greatest wicketkeeper batter in the world of cricket. Alongside playing some of the finest knocks, he is knowns for quick hands and quick mind behind the stump, pulling-off some of the most craziest stumpings.

His skill was in display once again during Chennai Super Kings’ IPL 2025 match vs the Lucknow Super Giants when he pulled-off one of the most outrageous non-striker run out one has ever seen.

The incident happened on the 2nd ball fi the 20th over when Abdul Samad tried for a cheeky run when the wide ball went to MS Dhoni far away behind the stumps. Dhoni then cheekily threw the ball towards the non-striker end and found Abdul Samad short of his crease. Watch the video below.

Rishabh Pant shines in LSG’s downfall

Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant became the hero for the Lucknow Super Giants today in their downfall. Lucknow’s top 3 trio of Aiden Markram, Nicholas Pooran and Mitchell Marsh couldn’t perform upto the expected levels.

Markram was dismissed in the first over while Nicholas Pooran scored only 8 runs in 9 balls whereas Mitchell Marsh scored 30 runs off 25 balls.

And just when the Lucknow Super Giants were struggling, captain Rishabh Pant who has been off form throughout the season this year, played an wonderfully crafted knock of 63 runs off 49 balls with Ayush Badoni and Abdul Samad contributing with 22 and 20 runs respectively.

For CSK, Matheesha Pathirana and Ravindra Jadeja picked 2 wickets each while Anshul Kamboj and Khaleel Ahmed got 1 wicket each.
