Watch: RCB’s Swastik Chikara Gives Water to Crowd at Arun Jaitley Stadium With No Free Water Facility Available

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB)’s young batting prospect Swastik Chikara won everyones heart with his beautiful gesture on Sunday during RCB’s match vs the hosts Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru beat the Delhi Capitals in one of the most fascinating match of the IPL 2025 season to climb upto 3rd position in the points table.
RCB first restricted Delhi Capitals to 162-8 in 20 overs after opting to bowl first. Later, despite losing 3 wickets for 20 runs, both Virat Kohli and Krunal Pandya played crucial knocks to help RCB get over the line in the 2nd last over of the match.
While all that was going on, RCB youngster Swastik Chikara won everyones heart with his gesture on the ground. Swastik was serving water to every RCB players when he was asked from the crowd to give some water.
Swastik instantly asked them to come close to the guardrails and asked one of the ground staff to handover the water bottles to those who asked for it. With his gesture, Swastik has impressed many fans. Watch the video below.
Swastik Chikara yet to make debut for RCB
Swastik Chikara was picked-up by the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the IPL 2025 Mega Auction for his base price of 30 Lakh. Swastik is a young and aggresive opening batter who is yet to make his IPL debut and the way that RCB is playing, it is unlikely he will get his debut this season unless RCB plans to test the water.
Swastik impressed all the fans and cricket experts with his great performance in the UP T20 League. In the 2024 edition of the tournament, he scored 499 runs in 12 innings with a strike rate of 185.50 and won the league for Meerut Mavericks under Rinku Singh’s captaincy.
