Watch: Sam Konstas Picks Fight With Yashasvi Jaiswal After Virat Kohli, Jaiswal Gives Befitting Reply

After taking on Virat Kohli during the entirety of the Test match, debutant Australian opening Sam Konstas has now involved himself in another fight, this time with Indian opening batter Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Team India is currently in dire state in the Melbourne Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-2025. The Rohit Sharma led side have lost 6 wickets and Yashasvi Jaiswal is trying his best to take this match to a draw for Team India.

However, during this batting, Sam Konstas who is standing in forward short-leg position, was constantly chirping to unsettle Jaiswal.

However, Jaiswal finally had enough as he got into it too. Jaiswal replied to Konstas to do his job when he was trash talking. Alex Carey and Steve Smith then interfered and asked them why Konstas is trash talking. Watch the video below.

This holds utmost importance for both the teams as their qualification for the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-2025 Final depends on the outcome of the series. South Africa has already qualified for the final having beaten Pakistan in the 1st match of the 2 match series.

For Team India, this is a must win series as this is their final Test series part of the WTC 2023-2025 campaign.
