Watch: Shah Rukh Khan Make Virat Kohli, Rinku Singh Dance in IPL 2025 Opening Ceremony
Recognised as “King Khan” Shah Rukh Khan has charmed thousands of fans at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The Bollywood star kicked off the opening ceremony of IPL 2025 on Saturday evening.
The popular actor took the mic and gave a short speech about cricket which gathered a lot of fans who were enjoying this moment. In addition to that, Shah Rukh Khan also shared the stage with the Indian stalwart Virat Kohli with some spicy moves.
“Party Pathan ke gar pe rakhoge toh mehman nawazi ke liye Pathan khud aayega aur patake bhi layega (If you keep party in Pathan’s house, he will surely come to invite and also bring the firecrackers to celebrate with him,” Shah Rukh Khan was quoted saying in his speech.
After having a few words, Shah Rukh Khan went on to kickoff the opening ceremony and also shared some moves with Virat Kohli. Before that, Shah Rukh Khan introduced the veteran Indian cricketer as G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time).
The popular Bollywood star also went on to chant Virat Kohli’s name thrice and wanted the audience to follow him. With Virat Kohli, Rinku Singh also joined Shah Rukh Khan on the stage as both of them started dancing to his famous song Jhume Jo Pathan and Lutt Putt Gaya.
Shah Rukh Khan who is the owner of Kolkata Knight Riders will be looking forward to his team performing well in this edition of the tournament. The defending champions, winning the IPL trophy thrice were looking well balanced on the cards with the likes of Ajinkya Rahane and a few more. Hence, we can expect some power packed performance from the winners of IPL 2024, Kolkata Knight Riders.
