Watch: Suhana Khan Heartbroken Reaction as Rinku Singh Gets Out vs MI in IPL 2025

Mumbai Indians (MI) registered their first win of the season against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Wankhede stadium. Meanwhile, KKR team owner Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan’s reaction after Rinku Singh got out cheaply is going viral on social media.
Mumbai Indians registered their first win of the IPL 2025 season at home against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) thanks to the defending champions having no clue of how to bat. Social media constantly criticised KKR batters for their irresponsible batting at a batting surface like Wankhede.
KKR were asked to bat first and were already reduced to 2-2 after just 1.1 overs. Despite Rahane and Angkrish taking the score to 25, the former got out to a rash shot. This continued as KKR constantly lost wicket, finally getting all out for just 116 runs.
Rinku Singh a major flop show in Mumbai
One of the disappointment of KKR’s batting was Rinku Singh. Rinku has been going through a rough patch for long time. He came to bat in the last over of the powerplay, and while many expected him to play a long inning, he got out to youngster Ashwani Kumar through a rash shot.
Rinku tried to step-out and take on young Ashwini but the left-arm pacer saw it and pitched it short. Rinku tried to hit for six but the connection was not the best as he handed a simple catch to Naman Dhir. Fans were left disappointed with this approach as Rinku had hit a four off just the previous ball.
This shot by Rinku Singh not only left KKR fans shell-shocked, but KKR team owner Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan who was attending the match, was left heartbroken. Watch her reaction below.
Ashwani Kumar rattle through KKR’s batting line-up
While it was a day to forget for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), it was a day of his dreams for the new Mumbai Indians left-arm pacer . The 23-years-old made his IPL debut in this match and got the big wicket of KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane in the first ball of his career.
He was taken off from bowling after he bowled the 4th over. But he was brought back into the attack in the 11th over and got the big wicket of Rinku Singh in just the 3rd ball of the over. He got the wicket of Manish Pandey later in the over.
From there, the biggest achievement for the young lad was when he bamboozled KKR’s most dangerous batter Andre Russell for just 5 runs off 11 balls in the 13th over of the inning. This ensured the youngster end his magical night with 4 wickets for just 24 runs in 3 overs.
