In a strange little incident during the Multan Sultans vs Lahore Qalandars match in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 season, Multan bowler Ubaid Shah punched his own teammate on the face.

The Multan Sultans picked-up their first win of the PSL 2025 season in their previous match against the Lahore Qalandars. The Sultans delivered an all-round performance with the bat and ball.

However something that made a major headline during this match was the 19-years-old Multan Sultans pacer hitting his teammate Usman Khan on his face. It was in-fact unintentional from the youngster as he hit his teammate while trying to celebrate the wicket of Sam Billings.

It was an intense 15th over of the 2nd inning when Lahore Qalandars batter Sam Billings had hit Ubaid for 2 big sixes in that over. However, the pacer had the last laugh on the last delivery of the over when he got the wicket of Billings.

In over excitement of the wicket, Ubaid Shah hit his teammate Usman Khan right on his face. Following the incident, Usman needed some medical attention. However that certainly wouldn’t hurt him as his team Multan Sultans won the match.

Meanwhile, Ubaid had an exciting day out on the field for the Multan Sultans. Chasing a target of 229 runs, Lahore Qalandars faced some great deliveries by Ubaid, who picked 3 wickets while conceding 37 runs in his 4 overs spell in the match as the Multan Sultans won the match by 33 runs.
