Team India were on the spot of bother when the duo of Jasprit Bumrah and Akash Deep saved the Rohit Sharma led side from follow on in the 3rd Test and India head coach Gautam Gambhir and former captain Virat Kohli’s was a sight to behold.

Team India were were on edge of being bowled and followed on by the Aussies in chase of their 445 runs in the first inning. Team India were on desparate moments were likely to be bowled out and followed on.

But in came the saviours in the form of number 10 Jasprit Bumrah and number 11 Akash Deep, who formed a much needed 39 runs partnership when India need 33 runs to avoid follow when the latter came on to bat. Watch the video below.

Meanwhile, the day’s play has come to an end in Brisbane at the Gabba as Team India ended the Day 4’s play with 252 runs on the board for the loss of 9 wickets. Akash Deep and Jasprit Bumrah still remain at the crease.

Earlier, Team India were in huge trouble losing 5 wickets for just 74 runs on the board. Then Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul added crucial 67 runs partnership of 115 balls before Rahul was dismissed for 84 runs.

Jadeja also departed after scoring 77 runs and when it was all but looking set for Team India to concede the follow on, both Jasprit Bumrah and Akash Deep played a much needed partnership of 39 runs.

One more day of play left on Wednesday and Australia will be hoping to get the last wicket as soon as possible and then go on and put on a some score on the board and will certainly ask Team India to chase the target in 4th inning. Unless some calamity happen, this match is most likely heading towards a draw.
