Former Indian cricket team’s captain Virat Kohli guided the pace bowler Mohammed Siraj on how to take the crucial wicket of Steve Smith in the 2nd inning of the Melbourne Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-2025 series.

Steve Smith was a bottleneck for the Indian team in the first inning. The star Australian batter played beautifully to craft a brilliant century where he scored 140 runs of 197 balls to help Australia post 474 runs on the board.

But this time, team India were ready for the 35-year-old, especially former India captain Virat Kohli. Kohli has a great sportsman relationship with Smith but he was the reason why Smith was sent back to the pavilion for cheap in the 2nd inning.

In a latest video shared by the Star Sports Network, Virat Kohli was seen guiding Siraj on how to take Steve Smith’s wicket. Kohli was caught in the stump mic urging Siraj to bowl wide of the crease as Steve Smith loves the corner of the wicket.

Kohli shouted “Kone se’, ‘Kone se’, Usko Pasand Hai Kone Se.” Later, Siraj followed the advice and managed to Nick an edge of Smith’s bat and got him out for just 13 runs. Watch the video below.
