The former RCB bowler, Mohammed Siraj reunited with the Indian stalwart Virat Kohli at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru ahead of the clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Gujarat Titans on 2nd April, Wednesday.

Mohammed Siraj was once a regular name in the RCB setup before being released by the franchise ahead of IPL 2025. He was roped by Gujarat Titans in the mega auction for a huge sum of INR 12.25 crores and has started his stints with the ball for the side.

Meanwhile, ahead of the upcoming clash against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, the right-arm pacer was seen engaged with his former teammates during the eve of their training session on 1st April, Tuesday.

Mohammed Siraj Hug Virat Kohli

Mohammed Siraj was seen hugging Virat Kohli as the video goes viral on the social media platforms. Moreover, he had a lengthy conversation with the star Indian cricketer against whom he is going to bowl on coming Wednesday.

Apart from Virat Kohli, Mohammed Siraj also embraced Rajat Patidar and Yash Dayal during the training session of the game. It’s clear that Mohammed Siraj might miss his former team as he spent seven seasons with them.

He was bought by Royal Challengers Bengaluru after Mohammed Siraj was released by Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2017. He had a great time with RCB, spending 7 years with the franchise and got 83 wickets in his bag.

Moreover, he became the lead pacer during his last two years, picking 34 wickets from as many games he played. Despite being the lead pacer in the side, Royal Challengers Bengaluru surprised everyone by not retaining the right-arm pacer ahead of IPL 2025.

But Mohammed Siraj would be keen to make his mark for Gujarat Titans in this tournament. With the upcoming game is against his former team Royal Challengers Bengaluru, we can expect Mohammed Siraj spitting fires at M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday.
