Virat Kohli pulled-out the viral ‘Kantara’ movie “This is my ground” celebration to mock KL Rahul after the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) beat the hosts Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru returned the favour when they beat Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi after earlier Capitals beat RCB in Bengaluru in the IPL 2025.
However, the biggest talking point from the match came during the post match. After RCB completed the chase, while the players were meeting each other, that’s when Virat Kohli decided to take revenge from the last match between the two teams Bengaluru.
For the unversed, after the Delhi Capitals beat RCB in Bengaluru, Karnataka lad KL Rahul who played match winning knock, pulled-off Kantara movie’s “This is my ground” celebration with Rahul being a local boy.
On this instance, post match after RCB beat Delhi Capitals, when KL Rahul and Karun Nair were having a discussion, Delhi lad Virat Kohli turned-up and pulled out his own Kantara “This is my ground” celebration. However, there was malice in Kohli’s mind as the two India teammates laughed out loud and hugged each other watch the viral video below.

Meanwhile, in the match, RCB captain Rajat Patidar won the toss and asked the Delhi Capitals to bat first. Thanks to brilliant bowling efforts from Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood taking 3 and 2 wickets respectively, RCB restricted DC for 162 runs in 20 overs.
Meanwhile, it was not a great start to the chase for RCB who lost 3 wickets for 26, runs. But after that, both Virat Kohli and Krunal Pandya added 119 runs off 84 balls for the 4th wickets Kohli getting out for 51 runs off 47 balls.
But Krunal Pandya ensured the victory for the visitors as the all-rounder scored 73 runs off 47 balls and remained unbeaten to take RCB over the line against DC in a crucial top 4 clash.
