Watch: Yashasvi Jaiswal Plays Most Unorthodox Shot to Bring-Up His Maiden Hundred in Australia

Yashasvi Jaiswal is the next big thing in Indian cricket and he proved it just right after scoring his maiden Test century in the first Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test match being played at the Optus Stadium in Perth.
After a failure in the first inning, Team India have got off to a great start in the second inning, mostly thanks to the opening stand between KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal, facing the new ball rather perfectly and avoided any kinds of batting order collapse.
KL Rahul and Jaiswal added 201 runs for the opening wickets. While the former was dismissed after scoring 77 runs, the young prodigy justified why he is called the next big thing in Indian cricket as he went on to score his maiden Test century in Australia.
Jaiswal reached his century to a really bizzare shot that got many excited. It was rather an unorthodox shot executed really well by Jaiswal to complete his milestone.
It was a shot ball bowled by Hazlewood that was over the head of the Jaiswal, who goes for the ramp shot. The connection was not the perfect as he wanted and the went over the leg slip rather than slips where he wanted to play. But, there were enough speed to carry the ball on the boundary cushions for a Six. Watch the video below.

Jaiswal was pumped after reaching the milestone. While celebrating, he removed his helmet and raised both hands towards the sky to strike pose.
India vs Australia 1st Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test Match
It was an underwhelming start for the Indian team in the series as they scored only 150 runs in the first inning. Debutant Nitish Kumar Reddy was the top scorer having scored 41 runs. But, Team India had the reply to the Aussies.
Captain Jasprit Bumrah led the bowling attack to perfection as he bagged a 5 wickets-haul and got equally great support from debutant Harshit Rana and Mohammed Siraj, who took 3 and 2 wickets respectively. Team India eventually got the Aussies bowled out for 104 runs to take 46 runs lead.
