Former Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav guided the hosts to the comfortable 9 wickets victory in the IPL 2025 match-up vs the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai.

The CSK batters’ struggles continued in their match-up vs the Mumbai Indians as valiant efforts from Ravindra Jadeja and Shivam Dube helped the yellow army to post 176 runs on the board.

Mumbai Indians made light work of it. While Ryan Rickelton also contributed with 24 runs, but it was eventually Rohit Sharma’s 76 runs off 45 balls, and Suryakumar Yadav’s 68 runs off ball 30 balls helped Mumbai Indians to chase the target quite comfortably and win the match by 9 wickets.

Meanwhile, the presence of a special someone during the match made the headlines on social media. A video of a girl supporting the Mumbai Indians side went viral on social media and it is in-fact none other than Bollywood fame Sonal Chauhan.

Sonal Chauhan is a Bollywood actress who graced the Wankhede Stadium with her glamorous look, wearing a black and white stripes t-shirt. Everytime the camera panned on her, the fans went in raptures.

This was not the first time that Sonal Chauhan attended a Mumbai Indians match at the Wankhede stadium. Sonal was also present during MI’s previous match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) a few days back where she stole the spotlight wearing a white t-shirt.

After Mumbai Indians’ victory in the match, she declared that former MI captain and team’s opening batter Rohit Sharma is her favorite cricketer.
