Who Will Score Most Runs in Rajasthan Royals vs Kolkata Knight Riders IPL 2025 Match ?

The match 6 of the 18th edition of the Indian Premier League, the IPL 2025, season will be played between the hosts Rajasthan Royals (RR) and the defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. The match will be played from 7:30 P.M Indian Standard Time (IST) on 26 March, Wednesday.

Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders both suffered a defeat in their opening match of the season. The Royals suffered a crushing defeat vs the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) where they conceded 286 runs while bowling first, and eventually lost by 44 runs despite putting in valiant effort.

As for the defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders, their middle-order fumbled against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) as they scored only 174 runs despite a great 2nd wicket partnership between Sunil Narine and Ajinkya Rahane having already scored 100 runs in 10 overs. The likes of Venkatesh Iyer, Andre Russell, Rinku Singh all failed.

Former Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain Nitish Rana will be playing for the Rajasthan Royals and he could be one of the top batter for RR. Nitish is kind of player who is equally good against pace bowling and spin bowling. With KKR having the likes of Sunil Narine, Varun Chakravarthy in spin, Harshit Rana, Vaibhav Arora, Spencer Johnson in pace, Nitish Rana will be playing a key role for RR, especially he would want to prove himself against his former side.

Quinton de Kock

South African wicketkeeper batter Quinton de Kock will be looking to carry on his great form against the Rajasthan Royals. De Kock didn’t start well vs RCB and was dismissed after scoring 4 runs in the first over. However, de Kock has great numbers vs Rajasthan having scored 371 runs in 11 matches. KKR would be looking at a flying start with De Kock playing a crucial role.

Sunil Narine

Last time these two teams faced-off in IPL 2024, Sunil Narine smashed a brilliant century, albeit in Kolkata. Sunil is that kind of player who either gets out inside 10 runs or go on to smash the opposition bowlers all-round the park. He scored 109 runs off 56 balls vs Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2024 that included 13 fours and 6 sixes. Although eventually Rajasthan won the match with Jos Buttler later scoring a century to guide Rajasthan to phenomenal win.
