Match number 7 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season will be played between the hosts Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. The match will be played from 7:30 P.M Indian Standard Time (IST) on 27 March, Thursday.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad ran rampant in their previous fixture at the Rajiv Gandhi stadium in Hyderabad against Rajasthan Royals in their previous match. With Ishan Kishan’s century and Travis Head’s quickfire knock, SRH posted 286 runs on the board. Although they conceded 242 runs, they eventually won the match by 44 runs.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on the other hand suffered a heart-breaking defeat in their first match of the season against the Delhi Capitals. Despite losing Aiden Markram cheaply, Mitchell Marsh and Nicholas Pooran gave LSG a flying start with 133 runs in 12 overs.

However, the middle-order couldn’t deliver for Lucknow and they could score 209 runs only. Later, a valiant bowling effort saw them reduce DC to 7-3, but Ashutosh Sharma’s inning down the order eventually helped Delhi win in the last over.
